As a Security Officer in Eagan, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Transportation. This role is for an unarmed patrol officer at a transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, observe site activity, and report security-related issues according to post procedures.
  • Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or patrol activity, and relay important information to supervisors and site representatives in a timely manner.
