Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aero and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting security-related events according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support the screening of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
Prepare clear, timely reports on patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed.
