About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Sanford, North Carolina. The officer will safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service. The role involves using technology to document activities and communicating clearly while following site policies and established protocols. The position pays $13.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Additional shifts may be viewed and claimed through the company's platform.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations prior to employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
Report maintenance or operational hazards to appropriate site personnel.
