About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed vehicle patrol driver to serve and safeguard clients at a government behavioral healthcare location in Greenville, South Carolina. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents, and providing professional customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors. The position is scheduled five days per week, Monday through Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
A valid driver’s license, as required by the company’s driver policy for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies, requesting assistance when needed.
Document observations, incidents, and completed patrol activities in accordance with company and site-specific reporting procedures.
