About The Position

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Mobile, Alabama, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will drive and conduct routine patrols across assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to site needs, and support a welcoming environment. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. This is a full-time position paying $16.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Requirements

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Drive to conduct routine patrols across assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
