Security Officer Part Time Key Custody
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Moreno Valley, California, for a retail-focused location. In this access-control role, you will help maintain a welcoming and secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to deter incidents. You will provide customer service and clear communication while following site-specific policies and procedures. The position pays $19.57 per hour and is scheduled Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment and to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, following visitor-management procedures, and documenting entries and exits as required.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.
