About The Position

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a dependable, professional Part-Time Security Officer in Billerica, Massachusetts. The officer will help protect people and property while maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and clients. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, controlling facility access, observing security systems, responding to incidents, and providing courteous assistance. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Pay is $21.77 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 18 years of age.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to remain alert, attentive, and professional throughout the shift.
Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to pass required background checks and pre-employment screenings, as applicable.

Nice To Haves

Previous security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to help prevent unauthorized access, security breaches, and suspicious activity.
Greet and assist employees, visitors, and contractors professionally and courteously.
Control facility access by verifying identification, checking credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other security systems.
Conduct routine property patrols and inspections.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security-related concerns according to established procedures.
Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
Enforce site-specific policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients, visitors, employees, and security team members.
Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate sound judgment while on duty.
