About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Columbus, Ohio, you will help safeguard clients, employees, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer-focused service in a welcoming environment. The role includes monitoring the facility and documenting patrols, incidents, and security observations. The posted pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the industrial facility, including exterior areas, access points, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, and report observations according to site-specific procedures.
Accurately and promptly document incidents, patrol activities, and other security-related observations.
