About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer for a driving post in Augusta, Maine. The officer monitors security systems and cameras, identifies suspicious activity and potential threats, documents incidents, responds to emergencies, conducts patrols, and helps protect people and property. The role also involves controlling access to secure areas, verifying visitors, assessing security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and collaborating with law enforcement when serious situations arise.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at an hourly rate of $20.60. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security experience.
• A valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
• At least 1 year of CCTV camera experience.
• At least 1 year of access control experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• A state license, if required.
