Security Officer - Weekends - Part Time
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in North Bend, Ohio. The role serves and safeguards clients while providing front desk security, welcoming visitors, managing access control and badge processes, monitoring entry activity, and delivering customer service. The scheduled hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour, paid weekly. The officer helps maintain a professional, secure environment through clear communication and attention to detail. Applicants must possess a TSA-issued TWIC and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local laws.
Requirements
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols.
- Monitor visitor access, verify identification as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, greet visitors professionally, and communicate with site contacts about arrivals, deliveries, and appointments.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established emergency response procedures.
- Monitor front desk activity and report suspicious activity, policy concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
