Part Time Security Officer - Weekends
About The Position
The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling assigned locations. The officer preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives at client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. The role includes resolving conflicts and de-escalating situations, interacting frequently with client employees and guests, identifying and reporting safety issues or suspicious activity, following post orders, completing assigned rounds and property tours, providing customer service, and using technology devices throughout the shift. The officer may also carry out similar tasks as required for the assigned site.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Above-average computer and technology skills.
- Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
- Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
- Professional demeanor.
- Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
- Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities
