About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Cincinnati, Ohio, for weekend daytime shifts. The officer will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine rounds, observing and reporting unusual activity, and communicating with employees and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, integrity, and responding calmly to incidents. The position pays $14.00 per hour. Scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business and perimeter areas, including interior and exterior areas.
Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete required reports, logs, and documentation according to site procedures.
