Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
