Security Officer Full Time Facility Patrol

About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Grove City, Ohio, you will safeguard clients and help maintain a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, and follow site-specific procedures and policies. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.98 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer lots, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Report suspicious activity, damaged property, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete required activity and incident reports.
