About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a concierge post in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role has a strong customer-service focus and involves engaging with students, faculty, visitors, and others in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at $17 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have a copy of a high school diploma or GED, or transcripts, in hand.
• Have exceptional customer-service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Be mature, able to multitask, and able to work well under pressure.
• Have at least one year of security experience.
• Have a valid PILB in hand.

Responsibilities

• Greet students, faculty, and visitors and provide customer service.
• Answer phones and use computer systems and other electronic tools.
• Observe, survey, and report detailed activities at the assigned site.
• Respond quickly to critical situations.
• Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.
• Read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards professionally.
