Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and electronic access-control systems, verify credentials, process visitor and contractor entries, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry and exit activity, challenging individuals as directed by site policy, and reporting unusual conditions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the technology location, including business areas, access points, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
