About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol officer to support an educational environment. The officer will safeguard students, staff, visitors, and families by maintaining a visible presence, conducting campus patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, and responding to routine situations and emergencies. The role calls for professional communication, exceptional customer service, integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with school policies, provide directions and assistance, and remain aware of campus activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
