About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for access management at a manufacturing and industrial location in Burbank, California. The officer will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service. The role supports a welcoming and secure environment through clear communication, accurate documentation, and responsible use of computer or tablet systems. The scheduled shifts are Thursday and Friday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access control procedures and policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and contractor authorization according to site requirements.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and access-related logs; issue and collect badges or credentials as directed.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
