About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol in Marrero, Louisiana. The role provides consistent assigned-site shifts, with the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. The fixed weekly assignment requires a six-month commitment. The role is intended for part-time work, with flexibility to increase hours—up to 40 hours per week—or scale back. Pay is $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday, 7:30 PM–11:30 PM, and Sunday, 5:30 PM–11:30 PM.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies, patrols the retail location and surrounding areas on foot or by vehicle, responds to incidents, monitors access and activity, and accurately documents patrols and observations. Applicants are subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening. State or local licensing may be required.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; it is required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly according to company and site requirements.
