About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Driver in Amarillo, Texas. The role has a designated site and a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. The stated schedule is Wednesday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with opportunities to increase hours up to 40 per week and the flexibility to scale back. The position pays $15.00 per hour, with weekly pay. Duties include providing site-specific security and customer service, responding to incidents, conducting foot or vehicle patrols, observing and reporting concerns, and assisting with access control and traffic flow.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and other site-specific duties while maintaining a professional presence that helps deter unauthorized activity.
