About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Technology in North Andover, Massachusetts, you will help safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will screen people and items, support access procedures, and respond to security-related concerns while helping create a welcoming and organized environment. The role involves using computer or tablet systems and communicating professionally with visitors and team members.

This is a full-time position paying $20.44 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and materials entering the location according to established access-control requirements.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, and entry credentials; maintain visitor and screening records as required.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
