About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a hotel and resort front desk in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role provides a welcoming presence for guests and staff while monitoring property access and activity and responding professionally to security-related concerns. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver's license. The posted rate is $20.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at the front desk.
Monitor property access, verify visitor credentials as required, issue access materials according to site procedures, and maintain accurate front-desk logs.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
Maintain a professional front-desk presence, answer calls, provide directions and information, and report unusual activity or security concerns to site leadership.
