About The Position

Provide for the safety of all individuals frequenting Coastal Carolina Community College, maintaining security and fire protection for facilities and capital equipment assets on campus, and preparing security related reports. This is a part-time, temporary position with weekday, weekend, and holiday hours. The role involves patrolling campus on foot and in vehicles, writing tickets, and directing traffic during peak periods and special events. Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with good customer service skills, are essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license within 60 days.
• Must possess a CPR/First Responder Certification or be willing to obtain within three (3) months.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good customer service skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

• Six month's Security experience.
• Six (6) months experience in security or law enforcement is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide for the safety of all individuals frequenting Coastal Carolina Community College.
• Maintain security and fire protection for facilities and capital equipment assets on campus.
• Prepare security related reports.
• Patrol campus on foot and in vehicles.
• Complete written accident reports on campus and at off campus extension sites.
• Write tickets.
• Direct traffic during peak periods and special events.
