Security Officer Warehouse Access Control
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The officer will provide customer service and help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control. The role includes communicating professionally with employees and visitors and responding to alarms and incidents according to site procedures. The position pays $20.00 per hour. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency-response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and incident logs according to site procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and other security-related conditions to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
