About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer for a driving role in South Bend, Indiana. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a logistics-focused location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide customer service and communication. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Work is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at $18.20 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local requirements.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
