As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel or resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hotel common areas, guest corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and help maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
- Prepare accurate, timely reports and communicate observations, incidents, and shift information to hotel management and Allied Universal leadership.
