Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, screening visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, loading areas, employee spaces, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report irregular conditions, access-control issues, and potential hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
