About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Patrol Driver in a healthcare setting in Jacksonville, North Carolina, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and property. The role involves routine unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to incidents and alarms, and supporting a welcoming environment. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM. Pay is $16.31 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, patient care areas, and the property perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization as directed, and documenting visitor, vehicle, and incident information.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity while treating individuals with professionalism, dignity, and respect.
