About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Mornings in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication while supporting a team that values integrity and reliability. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $26.50 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry and exit, and help maintain orderly movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
