About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed CPO Patrol Driver in West Palm Beach, Florida, to serve and safeguard clients at an educational location. The role combines armed vehicle and foot patrols with customer service, communication, and teamwork to support a welcoming campus environment. The officer maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and responds to concerns professionally. The position pays $23.75 per hour and is scheduled Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Possess a CPO certification.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Complete a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials as required.
Report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate with campus representatives, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
