Security Officer Part Time Armed Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Patrol Driver Security Officer in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. The role serves and safeguards clients at a dynamic industrial location through visible armed patrols, customer service, and professional support. The officer conducts routine vehicle and foot patrols, responds to security concerns, and represents Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The pay rate is $30.00 per hour. Applicants must provide a valid concealed carry weapons permit, a driver’s license that complies with Allied Universal’s driver policy, and Pennsylvania Act 235 qualification. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening, and the officer must participate in industry-specific security training.
Requirements
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Hold a valid driver’s license that complies with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess Pennsylvania Act 235 qualification.
- Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business, grounds, and perimeter.
- Maintain awareness of unusual activity and report observations according to site procedures.
- Conduct vehicle and foot patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
