About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Alarm Escalation in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform. The designated weekly anchor shift requires a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may allow employees to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The stated shift is Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

The Security Officer provides customer service and carries out site-specific security procedures, front desk protocols, and emergency response activities. Duties include screening visitors, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and supporting logistics and distribution operations.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal policy, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21 or older for armed roles), and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to applicable background and drug screening requirements. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.

• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures, front desk protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems, and report unusual activity, access concerns, and security incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Direct visitors and drivers to designated areas and communicate professionally with personnel at the front desk in support of logistics and distribution operations.
