As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Screening and Reporting in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, loading areas, vehicle access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
