As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Inspection in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen personnel and visitors, and help maintain a secure environment for operations. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the facility in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, vehicle yards, docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document observations and report security-related concerns.
