About The Position

Securitas is hiring seasonal flex Security Officers to provide fill-in coverage at client sites throughout South Jersey, including areas around Audubon, Deptford, West Berlin, and Somerdale. Hours, days, and work locations vary weekly based on business needs. Weekend and holiday availability is required. The seasonal assignment is expected to run from November through January, with the possibility of a permanent position. Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring and patrolling client premises, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives. They may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Officers are expected to be reliable, accountable, punctual, professional, and committed to Securitas's values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a reliable means of communication, such as a pager or phone.
Must have reliable transportation and a driver's license with a clean record.
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
SORA license.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Provide fill-in security coverage at client sites throughout the South Jersey area.
Actively monitor and patrol client premises.
Help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients.
Preserve order and enforce client-site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
