Security Officer Full Time Retail Store - Times Square
About The Position
As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location in New York, NY, you will help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service to employees and visitors, respond to incidents and alarms, and support a welcoming, orderly environment while following site procedures and policies. The schedule is Tuesday and Friday, 3:30 PM–11:30 PM; Saturday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM; and Sunday, 3:30 PM–11:30 PM. Pay is $18.28–$19.28 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production and warehouse areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintain required logs, and report concerns to site leadership.
- Support a professional, orderly environment at a food and beverage location while following sanitation, access-control, and incident-reporting procedures.
