About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a full-time Tactical Security Rover Officer in Torrance, California. The officer patrols retail and other sensitive environments, monitors for suspicious activity and risks, controls access, responds to alarms and incidents, and helps protect people and property. The position requires frequent movement throughout the shift and the ability to respond quickly to potential threats. The schedule is 40 hours per week, with either a first shift running Saturday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or a second shift running Wednesday through Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to midnight. Pay is $19 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional security training may be obtained during the hiring process.
• Have the physical ability to move around throughout the shift.
• Use keen observation to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
