About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Screening in Torrance, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. The role involves providing outstanding customer service, communicating professionally, and helping maintain efficient site operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.80 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site access requirements and applicable procedures.
• Inspect identification, shipping documentation, and authorized access credentials; report discrepancies or suspicious activity to the appropriate site contact.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
