Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and/or designated access points, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support security-related operations at a food and beverage location by observing facility activity, documenting unusual events, and communicating clearly with employees, drivers, contractors, and/or guests.
