Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges and/or passes, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and restricted area activity in accordance with site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity, equipment concerns, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
Observe vehicle traffic, inspect incoming and outgoing loads when required by post orders, and complete reports related to access control events, policy violations, and other security-related matters.
