Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will respond to routine situations with professionalism while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate site communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify concerns and support security-related operations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, checking credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with site policies and government location requirements.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or facility concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, clients, and/or public-facing personnel as needed.
