Security Officer - Rochester, NY
About The Position
Securitas is hiring full-time and part-time Security Officers for locations throughout Rochester, New York, and the surrounding area. Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling client premises, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The role includes customer service, report writing, interior and exterior foot patrols, camera monitoring, and emergency response. Candidates must have reliable transportation because public transportation does not operate during required shift start and end times. Some positions require a valid New York State driver’s license and meeting Securitas Safe Drive program requirements for use of a company vehicle on site. No prior experience is necessary. Securitas provides training for candidates entering the security industry. Retail, food service, or hospitality experience is considered relevant. Applicants should be able to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
