Security Officer - LeRoy, NY
About The Position
Securitas Security's Rochester NY office is looking to hire a full time security guard for a location in LeRoy, NY. Those who apply must have reliable transportation to LeRoy and the days/hours are Friday-Tuesday 1600-2400. Duties include customer service, interior and exterior foot patrols, report writing, access control and emergency response. The candidate selected will need to come to the Rochester, NY office for Securitas orientation and the NYS licensing classes if they are needed. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements
- Reliable transportation to LeRoy
- Must come to the Rochester, NY office for Securitas orientation
- Must come to the Rochester, NY office for NYS licensing classes if they are needed
- No experience necessary
- If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.
