About The Position

River Landing is seeking a part-time Security Officer to work every Saturday and Sunday on the first shift, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role provides security services to help ensure the safety of residents, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate has prior experience as a security officer and in reception.

Requirements

• Valid North Carolina driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Desire to serve senior adults.
• Positive outlook.
• Ability to take initiative and be detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and able to handle a fast pace.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a security officer and in reception.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in a vehicle.
• Maintain site security and watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Permit authorized persons to enter the property.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Assist residents, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Ensure the safety of all residents.
