As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and reporting irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related activities through accurate reports and required logs.
