As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document security-related information. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and property concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements; communicate access-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
