As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures, helping to support a professional environment for employees and customers.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, including interior areas and the perimeter, while observing and reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
