About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol First Aid in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, public areas, restricted-access areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures and communicate professionally with airport operations, transportation personnel, and emergency responders.
