About The Position

Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare and life sciences location.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post orders, and helping to deter unauthorized access or disruptive activity.
