Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents, behavioral health concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions or policy violations, and document incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Assist with directing visitors and supporting a professional, respectful environment for individuals receiving care and services.
